Privacy policy
What we collect
We collect the account details you give us: your name, your email address, a phone number if you add one, and a password if you choose one. We never store a password in readable form. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google returns for that sign-in.
We record the orders you place: the companies requested, the payment reference, and the stages the order passed through. We keep the companies and directors you follow, the questions you ask about a company and the answers given, and, for each sign-in, the IP address and browser it came from, so we can keep your account secure.
What we do with it
Your account details are used to sign you in, to confirm that the email address on a new account belongs to the person creating it, to email you about your orders and the companies you follow, and to provide support. Your order history is used to run the retrieval, to reconcile your payment with the registry fee we pay, and to let you download filings you have paid for. We do not sell your information.
Payments
Payments to Entiva are processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference and its status. We do not receive or store your card, bank or UPI credentials. Your phone number, if you give it at checkout, is passed to Razorpay to fill in the payment form.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to run Entiva:
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts the application and its data in India and sends our email.
- Razorpay, which processes payments.
- Google, for Google sign-in and for reCAPTCHA on sign-up and sign-in forms.
- AI model providers, which answer the questions you ask about a company. A question is sent with the filings it concerns.
- OpenAI or Anthropic, if you connect your own ChatGPT or Claude to Entiva. When you use it, the filing text your assistant reads is sent to that company under your own account with them.
- Google Analytics and PostHog, for the analytics described below.
Each receives only what it needs to do that job.
The documents themselves
The filings we retrieve are public records published by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Once delivered, they join Entiva's library, and other members may be given access to the company. Nothing in the library identifies you as the person who ordered it. Your orders, receipts, questions and alerts are never shown to anyone else.
Analytics
We use product analytics to understand how this website and the application are used. This includes the company names or identifiers you search for and the questions you ask about a company. If you later sign in on the same browser, that earlier activity may be associated with your account. We do not sell analytics data or use it for advertising.
On your first visit we note the page you arrived on, the website that sent you there and any campaign tags in the link, in a cookie this website shares with the application. If you then create an account, that note is kept with it, so we know which of our pages and campaigns bring people to Entiva. The cookie is removed when you sign in, and expires after 30 days.
We email you about your account, your orders and the companies and directors you follow. Every alert email carries a link to stop that alert. Messages about your account and your orders are part of the service and cannot be switched off.
Retention and deletion
Write to support@entiva.in to request a copy of your data, to correct it, or to close your account. When an account is closed, we end every session, detach any Google sign-in and remove your email address from it. We keep the record of orders and payments for as long as tax and accounting law requires. To stop a closed account being reopened straight away, we keep a scrambled form of the address that cannot be turned back into it, for a limited period.
