District names on filings do not always match the boundaries used on this map. Only records matched to a district without guessing are mapped, and coverage is shown for each state. A registered district is not necessarily where a business operates.

The playback runs from January 2024 through July 2026, the last complete month before the snapshot. “New in month” counts registrations in that month that are still present in this snapshot. “Cumulative through month” adds earlier registrations still present in the snapshot. Records without a valid incorporation date are omitted from both views. Neither reconstructs the active-company population at a historical date.
