# Research Indian companies with ChatGPT, Claude or your own agent

Add Entiva to the assistant you already use and ask, in plain English, about the companies you hold. It reads the original filings, not a summary of them, and can name the filing behind each answer.

Address to add: https://mcp.entiva.in/mcp

For ChatGPT or Claude, sign in with your usual Entiva login and approve the connection. You can disconnect at any time, and access stops at once.

## What your assistant can read

- **The accounts, year by year.** Revenue, profit, net worth, borrowings and cash where the filed forms record them, standalone and consolidated kept apart, each figure tied to the filing it came from.
- **Each loan’s terms.** Who lent and how much, with the rate and the assets charged where the form states them, read from the company’s own charge filings, beside the register’s list of charges.
- **Which years are missing.** A year the company never filed is told apart from a year that is simply not held, and where that cannot be known, the answer says so. A figure the filings do not state is reported as unknown, never as zero.
- **Directors and their other companies.** The signatories on the register, with their appointment dates, and other companies the register shows each one on, dated so you know how current it is.
- **The exact field or passage.** eForm values exactly as MCA recorded them, tables row by row, and the full text of every filing it could read, searchable.
- **A source for every answer.** Each answer can name the filing behind it by form and date, with a link back to the company on Entiva.

## Ask a question, then check the filing

- How did reported revenue and profit change across the years in these filings?
- Which charges are still open, who holds them, and at what rate?
- Which years have no annual return, and were they never filed or just not in my set?
- Which other companies are this company’s directors on?

A filing records what the company reported; it does not establish that the claims are true or reflect events since that filing.

## Order once, come back whenever you need it

₹149 for a company or ₹79 for an LLP covers every year and every document category the registry holds for it.

- **Read for you.** The accounts and loan terms the forms record are set out on the company’s page in Entiva, included in the price.
- **Yours to keep.** A company you order, or open with a credit, stays in your account. Come back next month or next year, ask again or connect another assistant, without paying again.
- **Dated, not live.** The set holds what was filed up to the day it was retrieved. Newer filings need another order, and a free follow tells you when there are some.

## Setting it up

### Claude (claude.ai, the desktop app and the mobile app)

1. Open [Connectors in Claude](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors) and choose Add custom connector.
2. Paste the address and sign in to Entiva.

Claude Free allows one custom connector; Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise work too. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector first.

### ChatGPT (chatgpt.com)

1. Open [apps in ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/plugins) and add a custom app.
2. Paste the address and sign in to Entiva.

Whether your ChatGPT plan allows a custom connector is set by OpenAI.

## Building your own agent

Connect an agent or a server application to the same filings. A new account comes with a credit that opens one company Entiva already holds, so you can try every tool before ordering.

The tools, sign-in and limits: [Entiva MCP server for Indian company filings](https://entiva.in/developers.md).

## It reads, and nothing else

- It cannot see a company you do not hold on Entiva, only companies you bought or were given access to.
- It cannot order, pay, share or change anything. Ordering happens on Entiva.
- It cannot check its own answers. Your assistant writes them, and the cited filing is how you check one.

When you use it, the filing text your assistant reads is sent to the company that makes the assistant (OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude), under your own account with them.

## Questions

### Can I use ChatGPT or Claude to read MCA filings?

Yes, for the companies whose filings you hold on Entiva. Add Entiva to ChatGPT or Claude as a custom connector, sign in, and ask in your own words. Your assistant reads the accounts year by year, the loan terms the forms record, the eForm fields and the full text, and can name the filing behind each answer.

### Is there an MCP server for Indian company filings?

Entiva has one, at https://mcp.entiva.in/mcp. It is a remote, read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for the MCA filings you hold on Entiva, with 17 tools. ChatGPT and Claude connect when you sign in and approve them; a server application can use its own connection credentials. The tools are listed at entiva.in/developers/.

### Is there an API?

The MCP server is Entiva’s programmatic interface: any MCP client can list its tools and call them, and a server that runs unattended connects with OAuth client credentials. There is no separate REST API. Setup and the tool list are at entiva.in/developers/.

### Does it give structured financial figures?

Where the filed forms record them, yes: revenue, profit, net worth, borrowings and cash by year, standalone and consolidated kept apart, each tied to the filing it came from. A figure the forms do not record is reported as unknown, not zero.

### Does it cost extra?

The connection adds no fee from Entiva, and your existing Entiva usage limits apply. ChatGPT or Claude does the answering on your plan with its maker; an application you run has its own running costs. You pay Entiva once for each company you order, and it stays in your account.

### Which companies can it see?

Only the companies you hold on Entiva: ones you bought, or were given access to. It cannot see any other company on Entiva.

### Can it place orders or pay for anything?

No. It is read-only. It cannot order, pay, share or change anything in your account. Ordering a company’s filings still happens on Entiva.

### Are the answers checked by Entiva?

No. Your assistant writes each answer, and it can be wrong. Each answer can name the filing it relies on (form and date) and link back to the company on Entiva, so you can open the filing and check.

### How do I disconnect it?

In Entiva settings, disconnect the assistant or server application. Access stops at once.

### Is my data sent to OpenAI or Anthropic?

When you use it, the filing text your assistant reads is sent to the company that makes the assistant (OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude), under your own account with them. A server application you connect receives the records it requests instead.
